Empty Bowls is St. Vincent de Paul’s Signature Fundraiser that raises funds, friends,
and awareness for its mission of assisting those impacted by hunger, homelessness,
and poverty. On average, approximately 1,200-1,500 attend Empty Bowls and enjoy
exploring the wide array of different foods and bowls crafted for the event. As we
engage with different local restaurants, we are hoping to obtain food donations to feed
our attendees.
Proceeds from Empty Bowls raises funds for our hunger programs and raises awareness of food
insecurity in the community. St. Vincent de Paul is a leading provider of the homelessness and
hunger services in Baltimore. Our event has hosted over 1000 people in years past and we are
continuing our partnerships with The Baltimore Sun, WBAL-TV, WYPR radio, and more.
